Deputy Principal - Learning & Achievement Management - Schools (Education & Training)
St Patrick's College is seeking an exceptional and visionary individual who is passionate about Catholic education to join our leadership team as Deputy Principal – Learning & Achievement. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the academic excellence, spiritual growth and holistic development of our students in a faith-based environment, with you being one of the key drivers in shaping the educational and spiritual journey of our students.
As the Deputy Principal – Learning & Achievement, you are responsible to the Principal for the overall operation, preparation, delivery and assessment of the curriculum and the overall learning and teaching program of the College. Working closely with the Principal and the Leadership team, you will provide strategic leadership, foster a positive learning culture and support the professional development of our staff. With a primary focus on learning and achievement, you will have the responsibility of ensuring the aims of the College are faithfully pursed while leading in all areas of the college, including pastoral care, administration, discipline, learning and teaching, religious education, and co-curricular activities. 
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.
About You Your passion for Catholic Education, coupled with your outstanding communications skills will enable you to engage with various stakeholders, including students, parents, teachers and the wider community. 
In addition, for you to be successful in this role you will have: 
Extensive experience as an educational leader, preferable within a secondary school setting.Post-graduate qualification in educational leadership or similar (or working towards).Demonstrated ability to provide clear and effective leadership to teaching and other staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work culture.Demonstrated ability to coach, guide and mentor staff to enhance their personal growth and leadership.Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives and drive positive change.Strong understanding of child protection policies and commitment to ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all.Ability to lead and inspire staff, modelling professionalism, respect and collaboration.Understanding of the Mission of St Patrick's College as a Catholic school community.Catholic Education Tasmania supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment directed at ensuring their safety and wellbeing. About Us St Patrick's is a Catholic co-educational Year 7-12 college of approximately 1,500 students with a strong academic culture that encourages individual students to develop to their full potential through a broad educational experience. The College is structured into a three-school model of learning, incorporating the Middle School (Years 7 and 8), Croagh Patrick (Year 9) and Senior School (Years 10-12).
