Marist Regional College is a Catholic, co-educational secondary school located in Burnie (NW Tasmania) catering for approximately 900 students from Years 7 to 12. The College is committed to creating a learning environment that fosters excellence, compassion and service in our students. 
We are currently seeking applications for an innovative, passionate and highly motivated Director of Senior School to join our College community. We are searching for a Teacher who has the qualifications and personal qualities needed to make a difference to the educational outcomes of students at Marist Regional College.
With a focus on educating the whole person at the heart of Catholic Education, you will inspire and empower our young people to flourish academically, personally, and spiritually, transforming young lives.
We are calling for applications for the following:
**Director of Senior School / Teacher Starting Term One 2025**  The Director of Senior School is a 4-year contracted Position of Leadership with a small teaching component. This position is also offered with an ongoing 1.0 FTE Teacher position.  The position of Director of Senior School (Year 9 – 12) is a significant leadership role at Marist Regional College. Under the guidance of the Deputy Principal: Pastoral Care and Wellbeing, the Director of Senior School will build and maintain positive role relationships with the Year 9 – 12 Level Coordinators, the Director of Curriculum and Pedagogy, and the Director of Student Support to bring about enhanced strategic and operational objectives. 
The College maintains a strong commitment to the advancement of outstanding pastoral care, management of behaviour, attendance and academic support provided for our students and staff in the Senior School at Marist Regional College. 
With the Deputy Principal: Pastoral Care and Well-Being, the Director of Senior School will be responsible for the review and implementation of behavioural and pastoral policy and procedures. These include overseeing the Senior School Reflective Practice Space, supporting the Senior School Academic Catch Up Room, facilitating and overseeing the transition process of students from our Middle School (Year 8) into the Senior School (Year 9 and beyond).
