They will work collaboratively with the Principal in leading staff to develop their knowledge and skills to drive school improvement, focusing on improving student outcomes.As a lead learner, they will need to have a strong relational capability to quickly develop positive relationships between students, staff and the wider school community. They will have well developed strategic thinking and analytical skills to contribute to our school improvement agenda with strong organisational skills.Experience as a Deputy Principal or curriculum leader is sought, with demonstrated experience in enacting the Australian Curriculum across a P-12 context, and capability in leading people to enact the pedagogies of Comprehensive Literacy and Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) as well as supporting the needs of students with complex communication through Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).As the Deputy Principal you will:Improve the educational outcomes of students in their schoolsDevelop the quality of teaching and learningNurture positive relationships between students, teachers, the community and stakeholders.The Deputy Principal reports to the school Principal.Interested?
