About The Role: As a member of the Department of Finance's (Finance) Corporate Executive team, this leadership role is accountable for embodying Finance's Values, and plays a critical part in setting and implementing Finance's strategic vision. The role leads the Service and Invest directorate in facilitating and optimising the delivery of transactional and strategic services to both internal and external customers. It enables Finance to invest in its staff and the community by using insights and leading technologies to continuously innovate and improve.
The role supports the Director General by providing strategic leadership and direction for the delivery of corporate services outcomes as well as the ongoing development and management of Finance. The role builds a culture of innovation and collaboration to enable the best possible delivery of services to our customers.
Leading Service and Invest, you will:
Provide leadership consistent with Finance's strategic direction.Foster an innovative, customer focussed, high performing and values-led organisational culture, particularly during times of significant change.Lead Finance's investment in strategic services including:Developing staff capability and creating an environment of continuous innovation and improvement using insights and leading technologies.Developing priorities informed by a deep understanding of customer needs, the reform agenda of the WA Government, and the Government's approach to service delivery.Positioning Finance as the experts in delivering corporate services to external agencies.
