Your new role
As the EL1 Deputy Chief Financial Officer, you will manage various finance functions, including:
- Advising on procurement activities and confirming fund availability.
- Reviewing and improving processes, systems, and delegations.
- Enhancing the acquittal process for credit card and travel accounts.
- Drafting financial governance documents in line with Whole of Government (WoG) requirements.
- Contributing to Financial Statements and Budget submissions.
- Developing and delivering finance training across the organisation.
- Managing a busy inbox and responding to queries.
- Advising on budgets and accounting requirements at month and year-end.
- Performing other finance-related duties as required.
This role is available as a non-ongoing or temporary transfer, with part-time working arrangements considered.
