Newly created senior executive leadership opportunity within a complex health service, supporting northern metropolitan Adelaide and statewide servicesInfluence and lead a positive culture of collaboration, accountability and clinical excellenceContribute to improved health outcomes for the community and broader regionThe Position Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) seeks to appoint a highly strategic and engaging senior executive to the newly created position of Deputy CEO.
The Deputy CEO will hold the single point of accountability to the CEO for the clinical performance of NALHN, leadership and influence over the day-to-day running of all clinical services and drive continuous improvement across the clinical programs.
Leading proactive service planning, effective corporate and clinical governance, the Deputy CEO will foster high levels of clinical engagement to ensure consumer-centred and integrated care.
Working closely with the executive and directorship team, the Deputy CEO will drive the development of sustained transformational change and ensure delivery of the requirements related to the portfolios.
The position will support the achievement of the strategic aims of the SA Health Strategic Plan, consistent with government policy, state-wide priorities and directions and identified population needs.
The successful candidate will be a highly strategic, driven and collaborative leader who has demonstrated experience inspiring, leading and influencing large multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of complex strategic and operational outcomes.
As a thought leader and contributor to executive enterprise thinking, the Deputy CEO will have exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to build trusted relationships across the health landscape, ensuring the collaborative delivery of consumer and community-focused outcomes.
The ability to analyse and conceptualise problems, formulating and executing solutions and experience driving and navigating large-scale change management will be key to the success of this role.

The Organisation The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) provides care for a growing population of approximately 450,000 via a range of hospital, community and home-based services, across multiple sites in the north-eastern Adelaide region.
NALHN employs 6000 staff and has a turnover of $1 billion.
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network includes Lyell McEwin Hospital, Modbury Hospital, GP Plus Health Care Centres and Super Clinics, and subacute and mental health services.
