Deputy Chief Executive, Department for Child Protection Skip to content The Department for Child Protection (DCP) in South Australia is offering a fantastic opportunity for a proven leader to make a significant impact in an established, values-based organisation dedicated to crucial work across the state. As the Deputy Chief Executive (DCE), you will shape and lead the strategic direction of child protection services, ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and protection of children. This role is pivotal in aligning with the government's strategic priorities and responding to the recommendations from the Child Protection Systems Royal Commission.The RoleReporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will oversee a significant and impactful portfolio, including regional and metropolitan service hubs, residential care facilities, and central corporate functions. Your leadership will be instrumental in delivering best practice child protection services, driving service delivery reforms, and ensuring effective management of both strategic and operational policies in a high-risk environment.
