Deputy Area Manager - Tasmania Area About the Role Please note this role is a Parental leave, 15 month contract commencing late December 2024/ January 2025 Flexible on primary location- to be determined with successful applicant.
The position of Deputy Area Manager is a key development role, providing the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, you will contribute to the achievement of the operational plan for the Area and be accountable for the delivery of customer service and business/sales outcomes.
You will also be expected to work closely with the Regional support team where you will contribute to identifying and exploring areas for growth and improvement across the Region The Requirements Superior ability to lead and develop a team remotely through observation, feedback and coaching In-depth knowledge of the retail bank and the ability to advise on all service, compliance and operating matters Exceptional customer service and relationship management abilities Great depth in sales and service leadership experience with diversified product and service responsibilities Knowledge of the business and management principles involved in planning, allocating resources and coordinating team member activities Exemplary verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence and build key relationships within the area and broadly across the retail bank Strong business acumen, including a knowledge of banking and how to analyse and report financial data Demonstrable business development skills with prior success in achieving outstanding business results A current and valid driver's licence - Required to be able to travel State-wide regularly What does success look like?
