The Deposit Operations Specialist I is primarily responsible for managing the bank's electronic document/ document image storage and retention and will serve as the administrator of the bank's document imaging software. In addition, they will assist the deposit operations team in the timely completion of daily bank operations tasks as noted below.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Document Imaging: Ensure the following tasks are completed for all documents identified for electronic storage; may directly complete these functions as well as oversee other departments' completion:
All document images are imported, indexed, and retained according to bank policy & procedure.Ensure high level of image quality, efficiency and accuracy are maintained.Any changes to the bank's document imaging system parameters are properly authorized and performed according to bank policy & procedure.Provide training to staff in the proper use of the bank's document imaging storage/retrieval systems, as appropriate.Serve as the bank's primary point of contact for all document imaging system software upgrades – ensure hardware/software are updated as required and changes/enhancements are communicated to staff.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide support to the Deposit Operations Team, and serve as backup for various functions, including (but not limited) to: File maintenance to deposit accounts, automated transfers (AFTs), Customer Information Records (CIF), online banking profiles, and debit card records;Processing of all incoming and outgoing wire transfers, both foreign and domestic;Daily file transfers; andOther duties as assigned.Remain current and adhere to GRB policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Previous experience with document imaging software preferred.Previous banking experience preferred.Prior knowledge or a familiarity with loan documentation and loan files is beneficial.COMPETENCIES: Provide a remarkable client experience.
