The Project Manager - ICTS Rotating Project Group will work in close partnership with all business units of the Department of Health to:
Oversee and manage designated Information and Communication Technology (ICT) projects, including project plans and documentation, communication plans and vendor contracts. Deliver project management services, including change management processes and business analysis by collaboratively planning, delivering, and implementing project and activity outputs in line with Hospitals South, Hospitals North and Hospitals North West eHealth and ICT strategies. Identify and understand business needs, issues and challenges and specify solutions (people, processes, and technology) that meet business requirements and deliver measurable benefits. You will need
Lead, plan and deliver designated projects in consultation with key stakeholders and in accordance with Tasmanian Government standards and policies. Develop and manage project schedules including the production of contract and project initiation documentation, communication plans, vendor contracts, risks, and issues registers, change management processes and plans, and other key project documentation. Provide regular and ad hoc reporting to steering committees, project governance groups and identified stakeholders to achieve and maintain successful engagement. The Team:
The Infrastructure Service Consultancy within HealthICT is a small practice offering ICT infrastructure design and deployment services to Health facility managers. The team's role is to:
Assure digital infrastructure deployments are appropriate for safety and mission critical systems. Assure new and renovated buildings support the Digital Transformation from day one. Reduce the risk and scale of ICT issues during construction. Handover supportable and documented digital infrastructure to the HealthICT Digital Technology Services Group. Fixed term full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 30 June 2026.

Salary: $124,371 to $130,905 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
