Data Management and Analysis: Provide expert advice on data collection, analysis, and reporting, including database design, data modelling, and implementing quality assurance processes to ensure data integrity. Report development and Evaluation: Create, distribute, and evaluate high-quality hospital activity reports, tailored for the target audience, using evidence-based graphical representations and supporting narratives to facilitate understanding. National Benchmarking: Supporting the THS (Tasmanian Health Services) participation in National benchmarking forums by managing data collection, analysis and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate data provision. The Skill Outline:
Healthcare Experiences: Experience working within the healthcare sector, with a strong understanding of hospital operations and data flows. Statistical and Analytical Knowledge: Sound knowledge in statistical analysis for analysing healthcare data. Statistical analytical knowledge with available applications. Proficient skills on Microsoft Office (Word/Excel). The Team:
CFA (Clinical and Financial Analytics) is a dynamic team within MRA (Monitoring, Reporting and Analysis)/ SMR (System Management and Reform) of Department of Health. CFA is responsible for:
Collaboration with clinical and operational leaders to define data reporting and predictive analysis needs. Ensuring the Statewide hospital activity data is reproducible, clearly defined, dated, and extracted from core clinical and where applicable, corporate systems. Implementing data models to predict future trends in hospital admissions, bed occupancy, and resource requirements to improve decision-making. Details of appointment:
Permanent full time day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $104,756 to $118,730 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022. Benefits available to eligible candidates:
