The Department of Education and Training supports the delivery of Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs to secondary school students across the Northern Territory. VET programs provide vital skills and experience for students exploring future pathways and looking to obtain credits towards their Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training (NTCET).
We are looking for a highly organised professional with strong stakeholder management skills to support the delivery of VET programs across the regions. The role will require an understanding of the standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTO) and compliance requirements for accredited VET delivery.
This is a highly rewarding role working with schools, trainers, and industry partners. It is an opportunity to directly contribute to successful outcomes for students and enable access to VET programs for some of the most marginalised and remotely located students in Australia.
The successful applicant will have a high level of administrative ability, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. An understanding of VET, and the challenges that impact delivery to secondary-aged students will be required. Strong partnership brokerage skills will be advantageous with the ability to maintain complex stakeholder relationships in a culturally diverse environment.
The role can be based in Darwin, Tennant Creek, or Alice Springs, but travel to regional and remote centres will be required.
