Be part of a team that drives inclusion initiatives for DHS Build and sustain relationships to deliver outcomes for South Australians with a disability Exciting opportunity to work within the SA Government Public Sector About the Business Disability Services provides valuable support to the South Australian community through supported independent living, Transition to Home, quality and clinical services, and the DHS Equipment Program. As one of the largest providers, we supervise and help with everyday tasks to support people living with disability to live as independently as possible. Our Transition to Home initiative facilitates the timely discharge of people with a disability from hospital into the community.
We also fund equipment and home modifications for South Australians who are otherwise unfunded for these services through Commonwealth options. Equipment and home modifications, as well as the delivery, repair, maintenance and replacement of items, is funded by the DHS Equipment Program.
The Project Support Officer within the DHS Equipment Program reports to the Project Manager and is responsible for providing proactive and efficient administrative support to the EP Support at Home Project Team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth functioning and success of the project by managing relevant databases, utilizing Microsoft Office products, and ensuring accurate and timely data and information.
Key Responsibilities Administrative Support: Delivering high-quality administrative support within the EP Support at Home Project Team, ensuring all data and information are accurate and fit for purpose. Project Planning and Delivery: Assisting in the planning, scoping, and delivery of recommendations for the proposed Support at Home AT-HM Loans Scheme in South Australia. Documentation and Research: Preparing documentation, supporting the review of documentation, and researching and compiling information to support the preparation of reports and correspondence. Stakeholder Communication: Building and managing strong internal and external stakeholder communications and partnerships to support information flow and ensure the effective implementation of the project in a timely manner. The Project Support Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the successful implementation of the Support at Home AT-HM Loans Scheme by providing essential support to the project team and facilitating effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
Must hold a current Australian issued driver's licence (equivalent to minimum class C).
Role Status: Term up to 01/06/2025.
