About the Role Reporting to the Director, we are seeking a hardworking and friendly Receptionist to join our team on a part time basis, for 34 hours across Tuesday to Friday. The position is located in South Perth, with free parking onsite. This opportunity will see you responsible for providing high quality reception services to patients, the periodontist and other team members, ensuring an exceptional customer experience at all times.
This role will:
Effectively manage appointments, including schedule changes, confirming appointments, and advising delaysGreet patients in a professional and compassionate manner, and ensure a positive and timely customer experience, coordinating with the Nurse and Admin Coordinator Respond to phone calls, make phone calls and convey messages in a friendly and timely manner Maintain the D4W practice management system and maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality Maintain knowledge of services and processes to provide information on treatment options, contact health funds and provide relevant patient documents Manage general inbox email and incoming and outgoing mail What's In It For You A career at Vision Periodontics means joining us on our journey to restore health, function, and appearance for people living with the most challenging of periodontal and dental disease, so they can thrive in life.

In addition, successful candidates will:
Have a minimum of 3 years experience working as a receptionist in a dental or similar setting Have exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and relate well with a variety of people Have a strong customer focus and customer service skillsHave previous experience in a referral-based practice Have experience and confidence to deal with difficult situations and customers when needed Be highly organised with the ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast paced specialist environment Be able to use initiative to work independently within a small team environment to deliver exceptional service Maintain a high standard of presentation, punctuality and confidentiality to represent our businessHave strong computer and tech skills, with at least intermediate use of Microsoft, and experience with Hicaps Be familiar with D4W practice management software is preferred however, training can be provided to the right candidate Successful candidates will be required to obtain satisfactory National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
