About UsADF Health Services provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia.
As part of this contract, Serco, in partnership with Bupa, provide defence-ready clinical and support staff across 50+ on-base locations nationally, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care.

About the RoleYou will be responsible for providing chair-side assistance to the Dentist/Dental Specialist/Hygienist in the delivery of dental services to patients.
You will also assist with administrative tasks such as entering/updating patient records as well as other duties as required by the Dentist including promotion of oral health to patients and maintaining optimal hygiene of the surgery.
To be successful in this role, you will have: The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.Certificate III in Dental Assisting or nationally recognised equivalent qualification.Minimum of 2 years (full time equivalent) experience within the last 5 years.Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.Ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality care to patients within a dental surgery.About Wagga Health CentreThe Wagga Health Centre is located at RAAF Base Wagga at Forest Hill, South-East of Wagga Wagga and has been an integral part of the community since 1940.
Known as the "Home of the Airman", it houses the RAAF schools of Technical Training, Administration & Logistics and Postgraduate Studies.
Services provided include primary medical, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy.
Health Centre staff may be required to work across Wagga & Kapooka.
Standard hours of operation are generally 0700-1600 Monday to Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).
