Join a dynamic environment and make a real impact Flexible location – Brisbane or Sydney About the role: As a Delivery Specialist / Data Scientist within Financial Crime Analystics, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and delivery of monitoring and detection strategies within our AML/CTF Systems and Financial Crime Compliance Program.
What you'll do: Deliver and implement strategic and tactical responses to AML/CTF typologies, leveraging your expertise in data analytics and modelling. Enhance AML/CTF System Detection and Customer Risk Management capabilities. Provide support to AML Operations, Financial Crime Compliance and other internal initiatives and projects related to AML/CTF detection strategies. Work alongside the manager to maintain a development and project roadmap for AML/CTF systems, ensuring alignment with current and future typologies. Identify gaps and system performance issues whilst implementing supportive controls to remediate. Deliver monthly operational and senior management reporting on AML/CTF & Fraud metrics, providing valuable insights to inform decision-making. Undertake other duties as delegated contributing to the overall success of the team and organisation. What you'll bring: Formal qualification in Technology, Information Systems or Data Analytics. Minimum of 5 years' experience in an Analytics / Technical Analyst / Data Scientist role showcasing your ability to excel both independently and as part of a team. Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, R or equivalent data analytics and modelling programming languages. Advanced proficiency in Tableau, PowerBI or equivalent data visualisation or reporting tool. Previous experience in financial crime analytics highly desirable.
