This department offers flexible working arrangements with the opportunity to work 100% remote based in Brisbane.The Department is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team that will modernise the department's database systems, integrated services, and applications to improve the staff experience and make regulatory activities more efficient.Working closely with the Product Manager and the wider team, the Delivery Manager is expected to set the tone for success, including team cadence, scrums, rituals, and common priorities in relation to the prioritisation of work. The Delivery Manager will also ensure that all products are built to an appropriate level of quality.About the Role:Lead a multi-disciplinary team, fostering collaboration and alignment on objectives;Lead collaborative quarterly planning processes;Facilitate team ceremonies like stand-up, sprint planning, and retrospectives;Oversee implementation of modernised database systems, services, and user interfaces;Manage integrated system and infrastructure change dependencies;Proactively manage blockers, risks, and issues to ensure timely delivery;Communicate delivery progress and status to key stakeholders.About You:Strong track-record of delivery in complex digital environments;Exceptionally skilled at forming cohesive and collaborative teams;Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing diverse skill sets;Proven experience with Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps;Adept at managing risk and proactively removing blockers;Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders;Desirable background in database systems and UI development frameworks.For more information or a confidential discussion please contact Greg Scharf at u&u on ****** quoting reference number 39576.At u&u Recruitment Partners, we value diversity, equity, and inclusion.
