Our client AGL are seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to join a contract role for an initial six months duration. This is based in Melbourne in a hybrid working environment. As we go through retail transformation, we are dedicated to fostering innovation and creating a customer-centric, digitally enabled business. We are embarking on a multi-year program aimed at redefining our operating model, with a focus on people, culture, and organizational structure. We are seeking a seasoned Delivery Lead to drive the Org & People delivery stream, ensuring successful implementation and integration across the program.

Role Overview

As the Delivery Lead for the Org & People stream, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of our new organizational model. This role involves end-to-end project management, focusing on team structures, governance, leadership, culture change, and mindset shifts. You will play a critical role in managing stakeholder relationships, integrating various work streams, and navigating a complex and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:
Develop comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with overall program goals.
Manage the full lifecycle of projects, from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely and quality outcomes.
Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior leadership and other stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including executives, managers, and end-users.
Collaborate with external partners and vendors, managing contracts and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Act as a key liaison between the Org & People stream and other program streams, ensuring seamless integration and communication.

Leadership & Change Management:
Lead initiatives related to leadership development, culture change, and mindset shifts within the organization.
Drive the adoption of new team structures and governance models, ensuring smooth transitions for all impacted personnel.
Champion a customer-centric approach, aligning projects with the overall business strategy and goals.

Agility & Adaptability:
Navigate a dynamic and evolving work environment, dealing with ambiguity and adjusting plans as needed.
Implement agile methodologies and principles to enhance project delivery and team collaboration.
Continuously assess and mitigate risks, ensuring project resilience and adaptability.

What We're Looking For
Experience & Skills:
Extensive experience in program management or delivery, particularly in organizational change and HR projects.
Proven track record in managing large, complex programs, ideally with exposure to mergers and acquisitions.
Strong understanding of customer organizations, including operations, sales, and service functions.
Expertise in agile methods, with a focus on practical application in complex projects.

Personal Attributes:
A senior-level professional with the ability to self-start and work independently.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and engaging diverse stakeholders.
