About the OPPORTUNITY We have an exciting opportunity for a Delivery Enablement PM to join our Hunter Class Frigate delivery team based at Osborne Naval Shipyard, SA.   Reporting to the Production Engineering Support Manager, this role will be responsible for effectively engaging stakeholders and leading a project team to deliver Engineering support to shipyard production and external suppliers As a senior representative for the Production Engineering Support team, this role will be responsible to project manage complex production issues across multiple SCAM areas to achieve best-for-program resolutions with consideration to technical, cost & schedule impact. We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working. Key responsibilities include: Integrating with SCAM and CAM areas, utilising existing information and reviews to identify emerging and current issues across the program. Utilising data and metrics to enable the Program Lead Team to drive agile & decisive ways of working with a focus on immediate production enablement. Identification of risk and impact of key integration issues within areas of responsibilities, develop mitigation plans and managing resolution of identified issues to closure. Contributing to the overall plan of work and status updates to be reported to the Program Lead Team weekly / monthly as required for all identified program issues. Utilising influencing skills to engage and manage stakeholders and stakeholder expectations Integrating with the wider business to support the assessment of integrated impacts, options analysis, and proposed solutions to the Program Team Lead. Assist with performance management of Control Account for the team ensuring scope and resource requirements are fully defined and enabled. About YOU Tertiary Qualification in Project Management or Engineering (advantageous) Previous experience in a Project Management role (defence preferred) Demonstrated experience in delivering through integrated matrix teams, using leadership and influencing skills.
