Delivery Driver AssociateRole SummaryReporting to the Fulfillment Center Manager, the Contingent Delivery Driver will be essential in our delivery operations, including loading/unloading vans at our warehouse and customer sites.
This role is an amazing opportunity to supplement income for the Holidays.
As one of our Delivery Driver Associates, you are essential in ensuring our customers are happy by delivering their products on time and with a smile.
We're looking for Delivery Drivers who can operate a large vehicle such as a pickup truck, van, large SUV, or a small box truck.
You can own the vehicle, or we can provide one.Key Result AreasLoading vans according to the delivery scheduleOperating a commercial van between our warehouse and customer locationsInteracting positively and professionally with customers and the public while delivering products to customer business locationsPartnering with Operations to ensure product delivery and qualityUsing handheld technology to deliver customer orders, manage delivery progress, and solve obstaclesSorting and preparing a delivery route to meet the client's delivery scheduleEnsuring the delivery vehicle is always clean and in good operating condition and unloading/cleaning of equipment and vehicle upon completion of the routeAssisting in training other team members where appropriateAssisting in warehouse operational tasks, including order pulling and general tasksSkills / Qualifications:Ability to operate and navigate sprinter vans and effectively use GPSPossess a valid driver's license in the state of residenceDelivery experience is required, customer service experience is preferredPick and Pack experience in a high-volume facilityHighly collaborative and consistently working on process improvementComfortable learning new software and providing feedback on appsDetail-oriented, reliable, on-time, and organizedA quick learner, proactive, and works quicklyCapable of moving up and downstairs at client locationsAbility to lift, push, pull, and move boxes up to 50+ poundsAbility to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and stretch during shiftsStrong time management when dealing with systems/customers/staffBenefits will start after 90 days.XPDEL, Inc. is committed to an inclusive workplace that does not discriminate against race, nationality, religion, age, marital status, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender, or gender identity.
