Our client, a leading name in the Defence industry, is seeking a Project Manager to bring technical expertise, strategic planning, and dedication to drive successful project outcomes.
About the Role:
As a Defence Project Manager, you'll be at the forefront of managing projects that deliver high-quality solutions, ensuring timelines, budgets, and safety standards are met. You'll engage with stakeholders, coordinate with technical teams, and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of Defence projects. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, values collaboration, and is committed to excellence in Defence project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Implement and uphold safety, quality, and compliance standards across all project activities
Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, maintaining risk matrices and forecasting
Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet project needs and drive efficient processes
Liaise with Engineering, Production, and Procurement teams to ensure seamless project execution
Manage project milestones, oversee contract deliverables, and handle customer claims as needed

What You'll Bring:

Experience as a Project Manager in Defence or similar industries
A good understanding of the engineering process
Strong project planning, coordination, and risk management skills
Knowledge of ISO9001 standards is highly valued
Exceptional communication and team collaboration abilities
Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities
