Defect Control Engineer

CRM is looking for Defect Control Engineer on behalf of our Australia-based client.
Main Duties:
Identifies parts, specialized troubleshooting needed to rectify defects and monitors via TRAX Maintains a comprehensive log of TS efforts, rectifications, parts replacements on every Aircraft Inputs Maintenance requirements to populate Auto EMN Uses Skywise, CHRONICX, AHM etc. to mitigate aircraft reoccurring defects Assists our AMO team with troubleshooting aircraft defects Re-plan deferred defect tasks Liaise with LMP, AAC and AMO for hangar slots and manpower requirement for overnight and all-day lay-up defects Set priorities in ports for overnight defect acquittal Role Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in a Heavy or Line Maintenance environment on company aircraft as an AME or equivalent; OR Higher education equivalent Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within a team Demonstrate knowledge of PART 145 / 42 regulatory framework Understanding of TRAX, Skywise, AHM, AIRNAV, Rocade and Microsoft Office applications Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment Proven record in initiative, determination, and achievement Benefits Package:
