Job Overview: A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Safety Officer to join our team in a full-time position at SCA. The Safety Officer will play an integral role in ensuring that the projects delivered meet all the necessary Work Health Safety and Environmental requirements for the project and the company in accordance with the relevant legislation.
Duties will include: Supporting management and site teams to maintain a WHSE culture in the workplace. Achieving accreditation against ISO9001, 14001 and 45001 standards. Conducting internal and external audits. Supporting compliance of all WHSE documentation with internal and external requirements. Construction Compliance. Customer/Client Interaction. Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Demonstrated experience in a similar role within Work Health and Safety. Cert IV in WHS and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role in the construction industry. Current Driver's License and vehicle. Senior First Aid Qualifications. Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems. Internal/External Audit ISO accreditation. Pay and Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience.
