The owner lives interstate and will occasionally fly up to use the vessel with his wife or guests (with notice). Based in the City Centre (Sydney), the vessel may also travel down to Melbourne over summer and as far as the Whitsundays in the winter.The Deck/Mate RoleThe Deck/Mate will work closely with the captain (who is happy to invest in training) and will maintain the vessel to its current immaculate condition.The Ideal CandidateSydney based with accommodation ashoreDeckhand experience on yachts or commercialCan learn to drive the tenderCoxswain (highly advantageous)Looking to build commercial sea time & further ticketsUnderstanding / experience with yacht detailing products (wax/buff/polish)Can learn Bridge operations / watchkeeping
