Requirements:Enthusiasm for maritime history and heritage preservationBasic understanding of safe working practices on board a vessel (training provided)Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and contribute effectively as part of a teamPhysical fitness to perform tasks that may involve lifting, carrying, and climbing (with support)Reliable and committed to a regular volunteer schedule (flexible scheduling options available)Responsibilities:Deck Operations: Assist with mooring and unmooring the vesselHelp maintain the deck area, ensuring cleanliness and safetyAssist with passenger boarding and disembarkingMaintenance: Assist with minor maintenance tasks under the supervision of experienced crew members (no prior experience necessary)Help keep the vessel clean and tidyVisitor Support: Provide basic information about the John Oxley and its history to visitors (optional)Assist with ensuring a positive and engaging visitor experience (optional)
