Join our highly engaged team at the Sydney office and be part of a national firm that values its people and work/life balance.Your new roleWe are seeking a Debt Recovery Paralegal to join our inclusive and collaborative Sydney team, working closely with our wonderful Senior Partner. You will be integral in providing exceptional client service with the desire to deliver the best outcomes for our clients.Your variety of work will include:Delivering high quality, accurate work while managing deadlines and competing priorities.Working with a number of key clients.Taking carriage of commercial and financial recovery.Post judgment debt recovery and enforcement, namely bankruptcy, winding up, property seize and sell, garnishee, warrants and oral examination procedures.Achieving both client and firm objectives in terms of recoveries and achieving turnaround times in a methodical, efficient and professional way.Utilising client portals to keep clients up to date on the status of their matters;Assisting with establishing effective work practices to ensure budget and recovery targets are met.General administration such as softcopy and hardcopy filing, archiving, photocopying, scanning and email correspondence.You will bring to the role:Minimum 1 year of debt recovery experience is essentialExceptional communication and client serviceProactive approach and initiativeConfidence with a range of technology and in learning new systemsStrong time management, planning and organisational skillsAbility to work autonomously and in a teamExperience using practice management systems such as Actionstep highly regardedSome more of our employee benefits include:Loyalty leave - up to an extra week's leave per yearFlexible work arrangements – work from home availableSalary insuranceA culture that focuses on work/life balanceRegular social and client eventsAnnual $250 reimbursement for wellness activities of your choicePaid parental leave - 4-8 weeks plus superEmployee Assistance Program – 24/7 confidential counselling servicesIf you would like to join a firm committed to its clients and its people, click 'Quick Apply'.
