St Joseph's Nudgee College (Est.
1891) is a Catholic Boys' Day and Boarding school in the Edmund Rice Tradition for Years 5-12, situated in Brisbane's northern suburbs.
The College has a student population of 1730, including 315 boarders.
We cater for students from the local Brisbane area, regional and remote Queensland, interstate and overseas.
We uphold the values of Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) in providing quality Catholic education for our students.
The College is focused on providing a rounded holistic education built on curriculum implementation, social justice, community service, sport and co-curricular activities, where every boy can find his place, make his contribution and achieve his best.
Nudgee College is a member of the Queensland GPS Association.
The College is seeking an experienced, motivated and committed professional, with strong leadership skills, who can lead our Mission and Identity team and provide spiritual guidance to the College community.
The role
The Dean of Mission and Identity is responsible for a wide range of outcomes, including but not limited to:
Enhancement of Catholic values and traditions of the Church within a Catholic school setting, as part of the Edmund Rice Education network.
Collaborating with all aspects of the College in promoting the spiritual, liturgical and prayer life of the College.
Focusing on the spiritual formation of students and staff within the Catholic tradition and through the social justice, advocacy, retreat, spiritual and liturgical programs of the College.
This role also has a teaching load.
You must have a Queensland College of Teachers registration to be appointed to this role.
