22nd October, 2024 We are now recruiting a casual Truck Driver  Westar Trucks Derrimut, named Dealer of Excellence 2022/2023 VACC 2023 & 2024 Automotive Employer of the Year Work in a team environment, driving brand-new vehicles  Loads of job variety, no loading and unloading or crazy hours  Modern, professional, family-owned dealership group employing over 800 staff Professional automotive dealership with a positive and supportive team About the role:  We are recruiting a New Vehicle Truck Driver to support our Sales team in moving our trucks to suppliers and customers around Melbourne.
In this role, you will drive new light, medium and heavy trucks from the dealership to bodybuilding shops and customers.
The role will focus on organising the yard and managing vehicle movement to different departments.
About you:  Hold a heavy rigid truck licence A heavy combination truck licence is not essential but would be highly regarded Be patient and have good vehicle movement coordination and allocation.
Be organised and able to manage your time Take pride in your work.
The ability to work as part of a team Great communication skills Reliable and a strong work ethic Permanent residency On offer: Full-time job, 730am start, Monday to Friday Training provided to support career progression.
