We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our new Daimler Trucks dealership in Geraldton. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of dealership operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, efficient business operations, and a motivated team dedicated to achieving sales and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute business strategies to achieve dealership goals and profitability targets.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team across sales, service, parts, and administration departments.
- Customer Focus: Foster a customer-centric culture focused on delivering exceptional service and building long-term customer relationships.
- Sales and Marketing: Drive sales growth through effective marketing strategies, customer relationship management, and dealership promotions.
- Financial Management: Manage dealership finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, ordering, and pricing strategies to optimize stock turnover and profitability.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure dealership compliance with all Daimler and regulatory standards, policies, and procedures.
- Facilities Management: Maintain dealership facilities to a high standard, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in the automotive industry, preferably with a focus on commercial vehicles or trucks. - Dealer or Salesperson license (required)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset.
- Sound financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and financial performance.
- Knowledge of Daimler trucks or similar commercial vehicles is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Automotive Management, or a related field (preferred).
