Day Shift Boilermaker

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced quarry/mining fixed-plant Boilermaker / Welder to perform fixed-plant maintenance at our Nerang Quarry, on a permanent, full-time basis.
We are looking for candidates who have either a trade qualification as a fitter/boilermaker, or ample relevant experience.
This role will be a day shift position – with a 5am start and 5pm finish, Monday to Friday! Very Minimal Weekend Work (Depending on Breakdown/Production Requirements).
In your new role with us, you will: Inspection and maintenance of crushers, conveyors, screens and chutes Communicating and planning repairs according to requirements in conjunction with the Maintenance Supervisor/Leading Hand Executing repairs as per scheduled timeline Monitor improvements to maintenance tasks and processes or plant performance This role is a great fit for you if: Applicants will need to be experienced in crusher, screening, conveyor repairs (fixed plant maintenance background) Preferences are for trades qualified in fitter/boilermaker Will need to be fit – constant manual handling Can commit to 5 afternoons a week Need to be able to work within a small crew Willingness to listen and learn Must be reliable Hold a current drivers license Hold current Confined Space and Working at Heights qualifications Are committed to Zero Harm and a safe working culture What we offer: You will be rewarded with a competitive hourly rate plus allowances Ongoing career and development opportunities Our Benefits At Hanson Australia, we understand that your well-being and professional growth are essential.
