Yorke and Northern Local Health Network, Healthy Ageing Team, Port PirieSalary: $29.70 - $30.01 per hour + 25% casual loading - Casual (up to 30 May 2025) - WHA4The Role As a Day Program Support Officer, you'll be at the heart of delivering vibrant centre-based activities for clients in the Commonwealth Home Support Program, Home Care Packages, NDIS, and other related programs. Reporting to both the Day Program Coordinator and the Mid North Leisure & Lifestyle Programs Coordinator, you'll be an integral member of the Healthy Ageing Team. You'll collaborate closely with clients, their families, carers, and representatives, as well as engage with other members of the Multidisciplinary Team. Must have completed an AQF Certificate relevant to Aged Care. Minimum Requirements: Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check.National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients).Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category B SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
