Candidates must be Melbourne/ Canberra/ Brisbane/ Sydney based.12 months contract with likely extensions.Must have Australian Citizen - Baseline clearance preferred.Our Client is a leading Consulting firm looking for a Database Administrator - Oracle/ SQL for one of their established Melbourne based projects.Responsibilities and Skills required include:Experience 5 to 8 years in a similar role.You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle database systems to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.Experience with sequential query language or the equivalent in one or more of the database platforms' native programming language(s), e.g., T-SQL, PL/SQL, Access SQL, Python, etc.Experience in file structures, design, retrieval, access methods, etc.Analyse on-premises database environments such as Oracle, SQL*Server.Install, monitor, and maintain PostgreSQL software, implement monitoring and alerting, implement backup and recovery processes.Experience in PostgreSQL Database Administration.Excellent written and oral communication skills.To be considered for the role click the 'apply' button or for more information about this and other opportunities please contact Ian Cardinal on 07 3472 6580 or email: ****** and quote the above job reference number.
