The team The Chief Data and Analytics Office is responsible for the management and use of data across ASIC, as well as the development and execution of ASIC's overall data strategy.
The team works collaboratively across the organisation to ensure ASIC can fully exploit all relevant data assets, both internal and external, in achieving the ASIC vision.
The team oversees data-related activities spanning data sourcing, data infrastructure, reporting, data science/analytics, and data governance.
The role This role has a focus on ASIC's Registries.
As a Data Steward, you will be required to undertake activities to maintain and improve the data quality of key data assets and repositories.
Specifically, you will: * Track data quality (e.g., completeness, accuracy, appropriateness) of ASIC's key data assets * Provide support in developing data matching and data platform solutions * Develop database queries, analyse ETL processes/pipelines, and matching routines/logic * Develop data policies, standards, and processes to support the Data Governance Framework About you To be successful in this role, you will have: * Tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience in Data management, IT, Computer Science, or related discipline * Experience in data management roles such as Entity Resolution, Probabilistic matching, or Data Warehousing * Solid understanding of data governance * Technical skills and knowledge in disciplines such as Database design, ETL, or Big Data Architecture * Familiarity with solutions for MDM, Business Intelligence, and Analytics * Possessing a current AGSVA security clearance is highly desirable Want to know more?
