About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Scientist with a strong background in SQL and experimental modelling to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for uncovering insights from data, designing and analysing experiments, and implementing SQL-based solutions to drive business decisions.
Qualifications Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, with experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and optimising database performance. Strong understanding of statistical methods and experimental design (e.g., A/B testing, regression analysis). Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for statistical analysis.
Key Responsibilities SQL Development and Management: Design, develop, and optimise complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data. Maintain and improve database systems, ensuring data integrity and security. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement data solutions and pipelines. Experimental Modelling and Statistical Analysis: Design, conduct, and analyse A/B tests and other experiments to assess the impact of new features and strategies. Develop statistical models to predict trends, inform business decisions, and optimise processes. Interpret and communicate findings from experimental data to stakeholders. Data Analysis and Reporting: Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track key metrics and performance indicators. Present data-driven recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
