Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and analytical Data Scientist to join our team.
You will play a critical role in analysing complex datasets, building predictive models, and driving data-driven decisions across the organisation.
This position also offers the opportunity to explore and apply generative AI techniques to drive creativity and efficiency in our workflows.
Key Responsibilities: Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data from various sources.
Develop predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and data visualisations to provide actionable insights.
Explore and implement generative AI models for tasks such as synthetic data generation and process automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and recommend data-driven and AI-powered solutions.
Build and deploy scalable data pipelines and maintain model performance in production.
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of relevant projects.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R. Experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and machine learning frameworks.
Familiarity with generative AI models and techniques, or a keen interest in learning and applying them.
Knowledge of database technologies and query languages (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical insights into business outcomes.
Experience working with big data technologies Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Exposure to Natural Language Processing (NLP), and generative AI applications.
Degree in data science or related fields.
