We are seeking two Data Processors to provide clinical administration and support for our Research and Evaluation (R&E) Department.
Both positions will be full time.
One position will be contract set to expire in May 2025.
The second position will be permanent and ongoing.
While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Blackburn North in line with our hybrid working model.
About the roleReporting to the Registry Coordinators of their designated registry, responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Checking AV electronic Patient Care Records, Event Registers, CAD data, ProQA data, hospital data and patient follow-up data for accuracy and completeness and confirm for entry into clinical registry databases (VACAR and VASQI)Accurate and timely processing of data from multiple sources into VACAR and VASQI to ensure Steering Committee, Regional Team and Executive reporting deadlines are metMaintaining contemporary data entry records and quality control status to enable cross-validation of dataProviding input into design processes to improve the efficiency of the registries attendance and contribution to weekly registry and R&E team huddlesAbout youThe ideal candidate will have a clinical qualification such as Nursing, Health Information or Health Science (desirable).
Other requirements include (but are not limited to):
Demonstrated experience with clinical data entry, data cleaning, and manipulationDemonstrated experience with databases including some basic programmingA high level of data entry and keyboard skills with strong attention to detailAbility to operate in an environment requiring teamwork, combined with the need to maintain confidentialityExperience in the health sector, the university sector, or emergency services would be an advantageThe right to live and work in AustraliaWorking at Ambulance VictoriaAs a valued member of AV you will enjoy a professional working environment that recognises the importance of work/life balance.
