What role will you play?As a key member of our data integration team, you will design, develop and maintain scalable data integration solutions to ensure accurate data flow between systems (ETL). You will build and maintain data pipelines for integrating data from multiple source systems, including external third-party systems (APIs).
Collaborating closely with data engineers and Business Analysts, you will understand the data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs. You will optimise the performance of ETL processes to ensure data completeness, accuracy and timeliness, as well as document integration processes, data flows and data mapping for internal reference, contributing to a robust and well-documented data infrastructure.
What you offerProven work experience as a Data Integration Engineer or similar with expertise in data integration, ETL and pipeline buildStrong programming skills in Core Java/PythonProficiency in SQL and experience working with relational and non-relation databasesExperience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)Strong knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing and data lakesExperience with version control using Git and agile development practicesExperience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark or KafkaExposure to orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.
