About the role Working within the Digital Solutions team this role will focus on delivering quality data ingestion, processing and visualization solutions to the business to help optimise their operations at every step of the value chain, from exploration to processing, empowering smarter, data- driven decisions.
You will work with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Subject Matter Experts to deliver valuable insights to customers.
Your role will involve designing and implementing data pipelines, managing data workflows, and ensuring optimal performance and scalability of data solutions to meet the analytical needs of our customers The role involves identifying areas of improvement in data pipeline efficiency and performance within Azure Data Factory.
This includes engaging with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and implementing effective data integration and transformation solutions.
Collaboration with internal teams and customers is essential for the successful implementation and maintenance of data pipelines.
This role also requires assessing, troubleshooting, and optimizing data workflows and CI/CD processes across platforms such as Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Machine Learning to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
This role is based in the Hunter Valley but will provide a lot of flexibility with hybrid work-from-home options.
You will work with other teams geographically distributed across Australia and overseas.
What were looking for : Demonstrated experience in Business Intelligence, Data Lake, Data Replication and Data Warehousing Concepts Solid knowledge of, and recent experience using the Microsoft Azure Data stack (Data factory) MySQL administration experience.
Excellent troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving ETL issues and fine-tuning performance Experience with Data Bricks, DevOps and Machine Learning is desirable Strong capabilities in time management and multi-tasking, delivering against competing priorities under tight timeframes in a mission critical capacity.
