Job Title: Data and Analytics Engineer

About the Role We are looking for skilled Data and Analytics Engineers with expertise in data platforms, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning (ML), and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
In this role, you will leverage your technical knowledge to build scalable data infrastructure, design data pipelines, and support advanced analytics capabilities across the organization.
These roles are part of larger project teams focused on developing solutions and delivering capabilities in data and analytics.
Key Responsibilities Design, build, and deploy data pipelines for transforming structured and unstructured data into valuable insights.Develop and enhance scalable data infrastructure that supports AI/ML models, automation workflows, and advanced analytics.Provide technical expertise and mentorship to project teams, assisting in embedding data solutions across various projects.Work collaboratively within a matrixed team environment, either as a lead on key technology platforms or as a technical engineering SME.Ensure compliance with data management and governance practices to maintain data accuracy, privacy, and security.About the Team You will join a team of ICT professionals delivering complex projects across critical digital domains.

Our Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone with:
Extensive experience in strategic data platforms, including designing, building, and deploying data pipelines for analytics services.Proficiency with contemporary data platforms such as IBM, Microsoft, Oracle in both cloud and on-premises environments.Experience in building scalable data infrastructure for AI/ML models, automation workflows, and advanced analytics.Hands-on skills with modern data engineering, ML platforms, and automation tools to enable intelligent, data-driven decisions.Knowledge of data management and governance practices to ensure responsible data use, storage, and transfer.A growth mindset, adaptability, and resilience to thrive in an evolving technical environment.Minimum Requirements Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) level is required.
