Position Overview: We are seeking a Data Engineer to partner with the business and take responsibility for developing and maintaining data architecture and systems, and for optimizing data flows across a range of applications and solutions. You will enjoy building our data engineering solutions, including data models, data ingestion, ETLs, data storage, and data delivery. The role works closely with internal and external stakeholders across the business to design and deliver technical data engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Data management, governance, and data qualityDefining and implementing data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliableMaintaining, refining, or creating all ETL processes related to the data stackConnecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business IntelligenceMaintaining and supporting data analytics platformsImplementing and championing Data Engineering ways of working including automated testing, CB/CI, and continuous deploymentPerforming any required data profiling, cataloguing, and mapping work for technical design and construction of technical data flowsMinimum Requirements: Knowledge of contemporary IT application development methodologiesRelevant IT-related degree or certification/s. A degree in a related discipline is preferredAt least 3 years of hands-on data engineering expertise.
