Job Title: Azure Data Architect

About the Role: MARS is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join one of our technology software provider clients.
In this client-facing role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based data platforms.
You'll work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored data solutions using the latest technologies, with a particular focus on Microsoft Azure.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Data Architect to work on cutting-edge data engineering projects while leveraging your expertise in cloud data platforms, including Azure Synapse, Fabric, Power BI, and dbt.
You will be involved in both high-level design and hands-on implementation, playing a key role in transforming client data landscapes.
Key Responsibilities: Data Architecture Design: Lead the architecture and design of data solutions, ensuring alignment with client business objectives and technical requirements.Cloud Data Engineering: Develop and optimize data pipelines, ensuring performance, scalability, and security within the Azure Data Platform.Client Engagement: Work directly with clients to understand their data needs, recommend best-fit technologies, and guide them through the implementation process.Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance to engineering teams, ensuring adherence to best practices in data architecture and engineering.Platform Development: Leverage tools such as Azure Synapse, Azure Data Fabric, Power BI, and dbt to build robust, scalable, and efficient data platforms.Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Key Skills & Experience: 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in data architecture design, with a focus on Azure-based platforms.Strong hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Fabric, and Power BI.Experience with dbt (data build tool) is highly preferable.Expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.Strong understanding of Azure data engineering practices and technologies.Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data architectures.Excellent communication and client engagement skills.Experience in managing and mentoring technical teams.Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Azure or related data engineering platforms.Experience in working with cloud-native data platforms and understanding modern data architecture patterns.#J-18808-Ljbffr
