The Office of the Bronx District Attorney is seeking a well-qualified staff whose diverse backgrounds reflect an ability to relate to the over 1.3 million members of the Bronx County community. Candidates should exhibit a strong interest in criminal law and public service. The Information Technology Unit is seeking a Data Content Analyst who, under supervision, will perform time-sensitive case-tracking functions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Record details of court adjournments and dispositions into a computerized case tracking systemAnswer work-related phone inquiries related to case inquiries accurately and professionallyResearch and verify case discrepancies to verify to ensure the integrity of all data enteredLiaison to inhouse staff providing timely and accurate case informationFirst level of support for all new inhouse / Custom off the Shelf (COTS) application roll outs (ex. BXDA, ECMS, CPR, NICE etc.)Checking, cleaning, and verifying data from external systems including large, complex criminal justice databasesProvide other related case access/tracking support functions as required QUALIFICATIONS:An Associate's degree preferred or a High School diploma/GED and a minimum of two (2) years working experience in a law firm, governmental agency, civic or community organizationFamiliarity with the Criminal Justice system and/or general court proceduresStrong ability to multi-task various assignmentsStrong computer skills, including familiarity and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skillsExceptional organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent customer service skills and the ability to organize information in a concise mannerDetail orientated; ability to precisely and accurately verify data and correct errorsMinimum QualificationsQualification Requirements 1. High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above; or 2.
