As the first point of contact for visitors and contractors entering the facility, the Security team at these locations need to leave a lasting impression of exceptional customer service.Position available is located in Hume and Fyshwick - Canberra.We have a day shift supervisor role and night shift supervisor role available.The Security Shift Supervisor will be responsible for the following duties:Manage the Security Team on day to day operational requirementsConduct security screening of all personnel entering and exiting a restricted areaEnsure compliance with all Security Procedures & PoliciesIdentify prohibited items and prevent them from being introduced to or removed from a restricted areaEscalate and report on incidentsPatrol assigned areas and escalate issuesMust hold a current AGSVA NV1 clearanceSkills and Experience:Must have current AGSVA NV-1 clearance and current State Based Security LicenceCustomer service experience is essentialConflict resolution and negotiation skills requiredMust be punctual and responsibleExceptional customer service standardsBasic to Intermediate PC skills (MS Suite)Compliance with all relevant company policies and proceduresProtection of premises occupants, protection of real and personal propertyReport writing and Site patrol dutiesGreet visitors and employees and assist as requiredExcellent observational skillsLead by example – support a safety and compliance cultureAt Securitas, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
