Data and analytical staff are responsible for key strategic projects or functions, and provide advice based on extensive analysis of data and information to support decision making across the agency.
They work with their teams to develop and implement solutions to complex matters and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policy and frameworks.
Data Assistant Directors lead a program of work with a number of staff and deliver against various streams of work and projects concurrently.
They have a sound understanding of the agency, its data platforms, its customers, and the business, to ensure they and their teams drive improved customer outcomes.
They understand the strategic direction, establish standards, implement quality controls and provide oversight for data for both the agency and our partners who access and use our data.

They ensure adherence to these artefacts, and through the data community, they maximise data quality, data governance, and its effective and ethical use.
