Parklife Metro is leading a transformative project connecting St Marys to the new Aerotropolis.

As the Data Analyst Trainee, you will be assisting the lead Data Analyst in developing and maintaining data models, algorithms, and dashboards for Project requirements.
This role is a 6-month fixed term contract and will be based in our Sydney CBD office.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Demonstrate strong understanding of the business objectives and the end user deliverables of data integration projects and align the data ingestion and processing solutions accordingly.
Participate in the conceptual phases of identifying and solving business problems and initiatives.
Understand and promote data quality and consistent data definitions to the business users of the BI/Analytics and Interface functions.
Ensure data quality by cleaning and validating datasets to remove errors and inconsistencies.
Develop and maintain data models, algorithms, and dashboards for Project requirements.
Provide PowerBI analytics and report development and maintenance backfill support for the other BI/Analytics Developers and Data Interface Developers in the Data Team during periods of reduced staffing or high data team workloads.
Criteria:
Relevant commenced studies with a strong analytics and reporting component.
Understanding data manipulation and cleanup process is essential.
Knowledge of BI/Reporting technologies.
Knowledge or experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools would be advantageous.
