Analysis & Reporting (Banking & Financial Services)This is an exciting opportunity to join Hyundai Capital Australia (HCAU) during our foundational stages! HCAU is currently the consulting entity of Hyundai Capital Services Korea within Australia. We're in the process of establishing a subsidiary in Australia to provide captive-finance services to Hyundai Motor Group (HMG). HMG is Korea's 2nd largest conglomerate focusing on automobiles, auto parts, finance and more.Hyundai Capital is the financial arm of HMG and the primary goal of its overseas branches is to increase vehicle sales by providing a full spectrum of financial services. We're currently hiring a Data Analyst to work cross-functionally with departments such as Operations and Risk to source data and develop data quality controls, reporting and analytics requirements. In this role, you'll assist HCAU to meet our regulatory obligations by supporting with risk management, operations performance & strategic planning initiatives. You'll have huge impact leading business reporting/analytics working in close collaboration across several departments (e.g., Operations, Risk, IT, HR, Finance and Sales).What you'll do:Coordinate and prioritise the business reporting requirements for the Operations and Risk function.Build, develop and schedule Operations and Risk data, data quality and reporting requirements.Analyse, document and communicate key findings with collaboration from Operations and Risk SME's.Engage with IT stakeholders including Application Analysts on data warehouse and data mapping requirements.Liaise with external vendors to make relevant system enhancements as required.Develop and maintain reporting documentation, user training materials and process maps.Demonstrated previous success working across Data Management and Data Warehousing analysis.Proficiency with SQL, MYSQL database, PowerBI (or Tableau), Python or similar SAS tools.A background working within financial services with tertiary education in IT/Analytics or a related field is highly preferred.Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and draw insights based on the underlying data.Superior interpersonal, organizational and time/project management skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present to senior management.Skilled with project and presentation software including PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, Excel.What we offer you :)A flexible hybrid working environment.Competitive base salary & bonus structure.Access to our Employee Assistance Program.14 weeks of paid parental leave for primary carers.The opportunity to build the company from the ground up!A fun and collaborative team with great work life balance.Employee Car Benefit Scheme.HCAU is an equal opportunity employer.
