Data AnalystRole Overview PCCW Global has embarked on the journey of data-driven business transformation and we are excited to grow our data and analytics (DNA) team further. We are looking for a data analyst to come join our team and help us with this mission.
As a data analyst, you will play a critical role in uplifting the data capabilities by designing and implementing data analytics solutions to address the business needs.
Key Responsibilities Translating business requirements into clearly defined data requirementsBusiness analysis to understand business users' requirements from the business analyticsIdentify and recommend new data and analytics capabilities, tools, and services that will enhance our overall data science capabilitiesProactively contribute towards data process improvements, data governance, data architecture, and team process improvementsDesign, build & maintain enterprise-level business insights dashboards and reportsProgramming required for visualizationAnalyze and interpret data trends and patterns, and communicate the key findings to various stakeholdersDeliver on responsibilities and tasks pulled in a timely mannerCollaborate and partner with other data analysts and data teams in the organizationBuild the data dictionaryMinimum Qualifications 6+ years' experience in designing and developing data solutions6+ years' experience working with business reportingExtensive experience with data visualization and reportingStrong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve in a systematic mannerDevelopment and maintenance of various reports, metrics, tools, and operational dashboardsStrong understanding of data visualization and analytics conceptsPrevious experience in data process improvement and strong track record in data quality enhancementAbility to understand data implementation challenges and tailor the analytics solutions accordinglyExperience working with complex business data setsProven problem-solving and creative thinking abilitiesExcellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information simply and effectivelyExcels at working either independently or in a highly collaborative environmentProgramming skills: JS, HTML, CSS, SQL, PythonSelf-learner who is interested in keeping current with the changing data and analytics landscapePreferred Qualifications Experience with Google Looker Studio ProExperience in Lean-Agile MethodologyPrior experience in implementing enterprise-level dashboardsTelecommunications industry experienceCloud Service Providers Machine Learning and AI services experience (GCP in particular)Location: Brisbane, QLD, AU
