About the OPPORTUNITY We have a great opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our Hunter Frigate Program based at the Osborne Shipyard (Adelaide) – South Australia reporting to the Engineering & PLM Project Manager.

You will be responsible for Implementing and facilitating the through life Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, policy and supporting toolsets.
Assist the deployment and adherence to the PLM processes & controls in each lifecycle phase and enable measurement of the PLM system.
Contribute to the successful business wide implementation and management of PLM and Product Data.
Develop and implement PLM related: processes; policies; requirements; enabling technology; and, support the management of product information for the Hunter Class Program.
This will include involvement in audit & preparation of PLM related information and developing Data reporting solutions.
Key responsibilities include: Gather, clean, and transform data from various sources, including Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) systems, to ensure its accuracy and completeness for analysis.
Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
Use various tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights from data and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
Create insightful visualizations and reports to communicate data stories effectively and enable stakeholders to make informed decisions regarding product lifecycle management.
Assist in recommending & implementing data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security, especially for sensitive product data.
Assist in delivering an approach to the digital thread, including co-ordination of the process across various stakeholders and toolsets, e.g.
Computer-Aided Design to Product Data Management to Enterprise Resource Management.
About YOU PLM experience in a highly complex product design/ build engineering environment is considered desirable Ability to develop and sustain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders for successful realisation of PLM objectives An ideal candidate would have a background in one of IT, Engineering, PLM, and CAD Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills Advanced level skills with MS Excel is considered advantageous, and experience with Tableau is considered desirable Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain a NV1 Clearance Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations We believe in hiring for potential, we know that some candidates hesitate if they don't tick all the boxes.
