Harvey Norman Commercial, located in Port Melbourne, is seeking a highly motivated Data Administrator to join our growing and successful commercial business on a Full-time basis across a 38-hour week.
Your new role
As the Data Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and maintaining organisational data, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility is always upheld to the highest standard. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making while supporting the general maintenance of company databases.
Reporting to our Senior Systems Operations Manager, you will also: Design and maintain data structures within multiple database systemsAssist with the design, documentation, and implementation of database usability processes and proceduresDevelop dashboards by creating regular and ad-hoc reports from different data sources to support decision-makingIdentify, analyse, validate, and document business benefits associated with data-driven initiativesEstablish and maintain database security protocolsPerform maintenance of backup and recovery systemsTo be successful you will have: A tertiary level qualification in Information Technology or equivalent5 years' experience in a similar roleProven experience preparing documentation, policies, procedures, and instructions relating to system usability.Proven experience maintaining databases, including but not limited to designing naming conventions and data sets.Proven experience troubleshooting and providing support to the business to diagnose and repair database and data-related issuesProven experience translating technical terms to the businessWhat's on offer: A competitive salary of $74,000 plus superA fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading Australian-owned businessASAP startFree parking onsiteIf this role is of interest to you, apply today!
