SUMMARY: As a Dashboard Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI. This role requires a strong understanding of data visualization, data analysis, and business intelligence to deliver actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and deploy interactive and visually compelling dashboards and reports using Power BI, ensuring they meet the needs of various stakeholders.Data Integration: Connect and integrate data from multiple sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and cloud services, into Power BI for comprehensive analysis and visualization.Data Modeling: Create and maintain data models, develop DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) measures, and perform data transformations to ensure accurate and efficient reporting.User Requirements: Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather and understand their reporting and analytical requirements, translating them into effective Power BI solutions.Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure responsiveness and scalability.Data Quality: Ensure data accuracy and consistency by implementing validation and quality checks in the data integration and reporting processes.Documentation: Document dashboard designs, data models, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintainability.Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and best practices, assisting them in leveraging dashboards and reports effectively.Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with Power BI updates, new features, and industry trends to continuously enhance dashboard capabilities and drive innovation.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing dashboards and reports using Power BI.Proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.Strong knowledge of DAX and Power Query.Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL.Familiarity with data visualization best practices and principles.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex data insights clearly.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with Power BI Report Server or Power BI Embedded.Knowledge of MS SharePoint and Azure Data Factory.Understanding of advanced analytics and machine learning concepts as they relate to Power BI.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Ability to travel to various divisions and worksites as needed.This position is not eligible for a sponsorship.
